I Lost My Firefox Info

I was trying to fix a printing problem I was having and stupidly re-set Firefox. I lost all of my bookmarks, settings, etc. I un-installed it because the look was so different I thought maybe I could get back what I had lost if I re-installed. Well, that didn't work. Now I have nothing - no bookmarks (which are extremly important), no nothing. Please help!

I'm afraid I've no idea how, or even if, you can get back to where you were.

For future reference if your bookmarks are "extremly important" make a periodic back up of them. Go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks and then click 'Import and Backup' at the top of the screen. Choose either 'Backup' or 'Export Bookmarks to HTML.' Either will produce a file you can re-import in future if needed.
