Almost daily I get a message to download or dismiss update. When I dismiss the message, it continues to pop up. When I hit download, nothing happens. This is locking up my computer at times & slowing everything down. I actually don't see the need for daily updates. What is causing this and how can I stop it?

You might still be using Firefox 127.0 and not the current 127.0.2 release.
