Suddenly, YouTube thumbnail images vanished on my mac laptop but still appear in Safari. Is this due to an extension? How can see them again?

That can happen if you block WebP images.
- about:config => image.webp.enabled should be true
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
There are also extensions that can block WebP images.
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
