Can't create 'New Folder' in bookmark dropdown and can't name/rename folder in Bookmarks Menu.
Can't select for 'New Folder' in 'Chose' when I bookmark. 'New Folder' is not highlighted. The window says 'Quick Bookmarks is disabled. Is that the problem? How do I enable it?

Make sure you first select a valid parent folder for the new bookmark in the tree panel above this button.
According to the System Details, you appear to be using Firefox 58. Any special reason for using such an old Firefox 58 version ?
Here's the sequence I use to bookmark a page. Rt click page. window opens, click on star, another window opens naming page and one of 3 places it can be saved. On the far right of that window is a drop down arrow. When you click on that it opens a box and just under the box is a small box that says 'New Folder'. It's not highlighted so clicking on it does nothing. This is the same procedure I use on my other computer except the 'New Folder' is highlighted allowing me to name the folder and put the page in it. Both computers are Dell XPS 8700. I bought the second one as a backup thinking I would be able to use my HHD's in it if the first one failed but it won't boot the HHD in the second and the second computer;s HHD won't boot in the first computer. I tried connecting my HHD to my second computer as an external HHD but I don't know how to open it to selectively transfer files. So I've been slowly transferring files via gmail to the second computer but I can't create folders in my bookmarks as I have done in my first computer, or should I say, I can right click and get a 'New Folder' but I can't name the folder in the bookmark drop down to put the page in. It will when I create a new folder on the desktop but not a folder in the bookmark menu drop down. As mentioned above, it says, 'Quick Bookmarks Is Disabled'. How do I enable it?
Mozilla sure has their head in the sand sometimes. I cannot believe they don't have a Rename option when you right click ANYTHING in Bookmarks. That's common sense. Not hunting around for where the name is displayed to see if you might be able to edit it. There seems to be a lot of brain dead management there. How this could have gone on so long without a fix is incomprehensible. A young child could spot a deficiency like this in an instant. Firefox Bookmarks is so poorly thought out in general. How about the sorting? How idiotic is that not to sort alphabetically by default? Is ANYTHING not sorted alphabetically on a computer? Thankfully you can get an add-on to rectify that madness. Yet in many areas they completely eclipse Chrome in terms of user control! I still prefer Firefox hands down over Chrome. It just would be nice if they got a little smarter.
In a menu and in the sidebar, you have "Edit Bookmark/Folder" in the context menu. In the Bookmarks Manager (Library) you use the detail pane at the bottom right.
