Firefox slow and unresponsive after 105
Finally got sick of it taking ages to function, so reverted back to an older version, which works without issue. Not looking for advice, just wanted to report the problem.

If your done, mark it as resolved so none waste time replying. ;-)
Note that it isn't safe to run such an old Firefox version. You can consider to use 102.8.0 ESR as that version is still supported with security updates.

What kind of troubleshooting did you do to try to fix your problems with newer Firefox versions ? Did you try Troubleshoot Mode or create a clean test profile ?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
