Google asking to sign in on Firefox (yep, another one)
I honestly don't now which topic this belongs in. Today I have had Google asking to sign in when I go to a login page of some websites. I am not logged into Google on this computer. I do not have Chrome installed.
Windows10, Firefox browser, Qwant search engine. Autofill options are off. I deleted Google from the search engine options. I have cleared all history several times today and still had this happen.
Ii know some websites offer logging in with another account such a Google, FaceBook, Twitter, etc. but I don't recall seeing this pop-up before, and I didn't look at it, really. I just closed it because it was in my way. I probably wouldn't have thought anything of it except I was setting up an account and they sent me an email telling me I asked to change my email address and would no longer be able to log in with that email address.
I've seen a few other complaints about Google asking to sign into websites on Firefox and they seem ridiculous, but it appears something may be going on. Does anybody know why this would be happening? Is there anything I should look at in about:config?

OMG. Answering my own question and it isn't pretty
I figured out what's going on. You only have to sign into ONE website connected to your Google account, ONCE and Google remembers it, even if your web browser doesn't. Even if you delete all your history every time you use your browser. I personally find this to be a HUGE OVERREACH, but Google IS TRACKING YOU EVERYWHERE and you only have to let them in ONCE on that device. You have to sign out of everything and turn off the option to sign in with Google in your Google account. You don't actually have to manually turn it ON in your Google account for it to be active.
Sign into your Google account, go to Security, Your Devices, click on Manage your Devices and log out of every single session and web page from there. Don't forget to turn off the option to sign in with Google. This is where that pop-up is coming from, seemingly uninvited, but Google thinks it IS invited. Google seems to think they own the internet.
The creepiest part is when you go to Google.com after having logged out of and removed EVERYTHING, the webpage knows who you are before you log in, even though you cleared your history and removed your device, Google still remembers your device and associates your account, even with tracking blockers installed. This is out of control. I sincerely hope Mozilla is working on a way to reinforce boundaries on Google. I use Firefox because I don't like Google's invasive behavior. That seems to be a common reason among Firefox users.
