I am on a Mac M1 and up to a month ago I was using the latest version of Firefox (regular) and the last few weeks it had this issue and when I switched to Firefox Dev Edition it went away until today.

The issue is defined as when I right click on a link it left clicks and right clicks on the link at the same time. (It loads the page I clicked on and also triggers the context menu)

I have no themes, no extensions.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? It's not happening in Safari or Chrome (both latest versions) and it took me years to finally migrate to Firefox and would hate to go back.

Thanks in advance!

Windows has a universal keyboard shortcut that does a right-click wherever your cursor is located. The key combination for this shortcut is Shift + F10. There are other keyboard shortcuts available, so if anyone is interested in these just leave me a comment

Maybe try to set ui.click_hold_context_menus = false on the about:config page to see if that has effect.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. On the warning page, you can click "Accept the Risk and Continue" to open about:config.
