Lost add-ons and bookmarks etc....
HI, Yesterday (Sunday) i backup everything using the sync option. Restarted my computer with a fresh install of windows. Mow when i can to sync again, all of my bookmarks and add-ons etc have gone? Why? Please Help!!!!! Regards Dave

If those were all on the compuer that you reinstalled Windows then all the sync data is gone. Sync only sync from device to device it isn't a backup option.
Sync does however connect to a Sync server as I mentioned to you multiple times including in /questions/1395878#answer-1546216 as it is not only device to device.

Sync can potentially be used but yes it is not really meant for backup purposes.
