Issue Using PowerBI Calendar Widget

more options

I have to use a Power BI dashboard/report as part of my job. One of the dashboard pages, the left hand side of the report are tables that are linked to a calendar widget on the right hand side of the page. Clicking on the items in the calendar should filter the tables to show only items related to the calendar item, but this doesnt work.

The functionality works in Edge.

Hi Niels, is this something that previously worked for you in Firefox and broke recently, or do we first need to confirm that it works in Firefox at all for anyone? As Dropa mentioned, it makes sense to check with the vendor, although to limit support costs, many just tell you to try a different browser...

Hello! This was always an issue, just recently tried the functionality on a different browser to see if the issue was with Firefox or with the PowerBI plugin. I can check with Microsoft, no idea on how helpful they will be, considering that this is a plugin for their application, not something developed by microsoft itself.

Just wondering if there was a chance that someone else experienced this very specific situation and figured out a solution.

Thank you!

Maybe there is a PowerBI forum out there where users have posted about Firefox compatibility?

If you have free time on your hands, you could open the Web Console (Ctrl+Shift+K) and look for any error messages that appear when you click on an item. Of course, there may have been earlier messages during the loading and setup of the page, but the ones related to clicking would be a good place to start.
