Firefox shows gibberish text on certain pages

After I updated my ff browser to the current version, certain websites have had their text all messed up. I first tried restarting the browser and then my computer. Next I tried to purge all cookies. I then tried to remove all add-ons and then purged cookies again, but the issue still persisted.

Firefox version: 105.0.1 (64bit)

OS: Mac Big Sur 11.6

Any ideas on why this is happening or how to fix?

You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts.

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

Deleting the Font Book duplicates fixed this, thank you!
