Ffx is now default browser, but it will not allow me to access reader mail or comments on my subscription to WSJ Safari allows full access to this. would like to stay on Ffx. Can you help?

Many times the comment system on a new site is embedded from a different server, so cross-site cookie restrictions or content blocking could be a factor. Especially on sites that use Facebook for comments (I don't know what WSJ uses).

As a starting point, try making an exception to the Enhanced Tracking Protection feature on WSJ and see whether that makes any difference. These article has more information on ETP and cookies:

If you use any ad blockers or other privacy blockers, they often have toolbar buttons that you can use to discover what they are blocking. I suggest taking a look at all of those to see whether any of them might be the culprit.
