FIND bar popping up when I type eg editing a comment box on waitrose.com
When I type in the main firefox pane I sometimes get the search bar popping, cf the discussions 4 years ago. No idea why, I haven't added any addons. Maddening. It's not doing it now or i couldn't have sent this.

Make sure you click in an input box before you start typing. If you haven't, the browser opens the find bar automatically.

OMG! Thank you. 50 years of computing and never discovered this!
Note that this is the "Find As You Type" (FAYT) feature.
- Settings -> General -> Browsing -> Search for text when you start typing
