Have plugin/addon injection issues
I had a simple plugin working which I created for my university dissertation , it suddenly stopped working roughly about one week ago and now even the default firefox starter plugin and demo example will not run or inject a file. I have tried running them on two seperate systems and tried both nightly, beta and regular firefox. Also tried running them on unbutu and windows machines with the same issue. Has anything changed reclently on how plugins are handled? Any suggestions/help would be greatfully appriciated

Are you talking about a plugin or an add-on extension? The current Firefox does not support plugins.
What does it do?
Extensions are options you install into Firefox. They can be removed at will.
Plugins are from programs that Firefox finds already on your system.
An extension without a Remove button is really a plugin. The only way to remove a plugin is to remove its program from your system. However, you can disable extensions and plugins if you want.
All Firefox v52+ Releases disable all plugins including Flash

Hi sorry yes it is an add on which is connected to a server which pulls and sends requests/data deppeneding on user queries. (which was again working correctly untill very resently) But now the script for requests is not being exacuted
