Sorry! 0 results found for ‘as warned, a website will not display after my latest down load. i went to settings and asked that it be "allowed" on that site. i no longer have access using firefox but in theory i am connected to that site’ for ‘Firefox’ i went to that website's tech support; they said that many had this problem after downloading updates from Firefox and that maybe it would work itself out in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile i am unable to view this site.

I have several versions of Firefox and had no problem.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

In Firefox 56+ the "Warn me when website try to redirect or reload the page" setting can no longer be found in Settings.

You can modify this pref on the about:config page to disable this accessibility feature.

  • accessibility.blockautorefresh = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can click the button to "Accept the Risk and Continue".

i am not good with computers. i followed the instructions, got to the "about:config" page, clicked the accept risk and continue, entered the website address that is only NOW being blocked and it appeared with false written there. i put the cursor in the colored portion and clicked, then tried to log on to the website and failed. When back to "about:config", changed the false to true, clicked on the space and tried to log on again and failed in the same fashion.

Do i need to close the browser and then try? If so, should the "about:config" page read TRUE or FALSE?

This, or something like it, seems to happen every time i upgrade Firefox. i am driven to do so by the box that pops-up every time i use your browser. i hate to say it, but all other browsers allow me to go where i want.

Yes. Some preferences require the browser to be restarted.

Okay. i went through the about:config. i tried it with the "true" and with the "false", logging off Firefox and then logging back on. The site says pop-ups are allowed. It still does not display.

Why does this browser do this continually? A new pop-up just appeared on my screen "Update available" Download the latest version of Firefox-- is this a joke? The time before last i lost the ability to use the computer; last time, which i am trying to communicate about now, i lost the ability to log on to my financial website and brokerage.

i could just download the newest version then buy a new computer when nothing works and not use Firefox; but most recommend it.

Version 95.0, first offered to Release channel users on December 7, 2021 Version 95.0.1, first offered to Release channel users on December 16, 2021

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1359657#answer-1463359 and updated to 95.0. . . . I finally found where the plugin "Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc." was not updating to the newest version of December 1, 2021. Ver #4.10.2391.0

cor-el; Make sure you have the latest Widevine version. You can toggle DRM off/on to see if that makes Firefox (re)load DRM components.

You can possibly check the XHR requests in the Browser Console if this doesn't work.
