Facebook & Norton 360 after update
Five days ago I installed a Firefox update. Since then, I have 2 problems that I cannot resolve. (1) Norton 360 icon is no longer available on my browser taskbar; I can still run scans and the Norton suite is enabled under "Manage Your Extensions"; but no way to access the password manager while browsing. (2) Facebook will not 'hold' any of my settings; I can set up the Facebook site as my Home page, but I have to log in to my Facebook page from there each time I open the browser; Facebook is not maintaining my game settings; however, scores and the like are being maintained; but, for instance, it is not retaining that I want music off; Facebook is not retaining any advertising settings either; if I check in 'Cookies and Site Data\Manage Data' it says I have not logged into Facebook for 5 days (I log in several times each day); Facebook is not listed under 'Manage Exceptions'.

Are you using an add-on for this?
Norton questions should be asked here; https://support.norton.com

To 2) Maybe this will help: fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords Notice that "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" (at "Settings", "Privacy&Security", "Cookies and Site Data") has to be disabled or the address of the website (eg. facebook.com) should be entered at "Manage Exceptions" as "Allow". You should also check if a Adblock-Addon blocks cookies from facebook.

I added facebook to my exceptions. However, the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box is checked and greyed out - I cannot uncheck it. So ... facebook is still not keeping changes in settings.
no ad blockers installed.

Go to that message, and use the Undo link to its right.
Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Is "Always use private browsing mode" (at "Settings", "Privacy&Security", "History") activated? You should disable it. Then you should be able to uncheck the "Delete Cookies and Website data" checkbox. (Facebook Login)
