When you change something you normally do it to make improvements. If you seriously believe that the Proton interface is an improvement then your level of appreciation is vastly different to mine. I managed to get the old interface back but now all my menus have suddenly become double spaced. Now I read that the changes I have implemented to get back to normality are going to be removed.

Why on Earth did you want to muck around with it? I have used Firefox since the day it was introduced but it seems we are about to go our separate ways.

Hey there!

If you want to know how to remove your the double spacing on your menus check out a similar case to yours below:

Hope I helped!

Hi Bithiah, Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the fix you suggest obviously works but apparently the next release removes this ability and it's back to square one. Firefox has always been my favorite browser and it staggers me that they believe it should be changed. If something is changed it should only be to improve it. Rather than improving Firefox, Proton is a giant step backwards.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.
