Firefox asks for Primary Password every few hours

Since a few days, Firefox pops up the Primary Password dialog every few hours.

I use a primary password since years, and this never happened before. Usually it asks for the primary password at startup and then never again. I don't use Sync.

What could it be? A change in version 90 that I updated to a few days ago?

I see on reddit other people reporting the same problem.
