So,Ii have been using chrome since i was born, and i have decided of shifting from chrome to firfox as now privicy is my concern, people are not recomending to do it, they say, firefox dosent have and a thing or a feature known as sandbox, accoring to them, as firefox dosent have any sandbox, i came around a malware site, it can even affect at the os level, people say sandbox is not avalibe on both android and windows devices,
so i want to know the really from the community, whats the truth??
That information could be 5 years old now. Over time, Firefox's "sandbox" -- technology that runs web content with restricted privileges to make changes on your computer -- keeps getting stronger. There is an optional feature code-named "fission" to further improve site isolation that you can enable (it is still in the last round of testing).
If you're interested in how browser sandboxes work, I saw a great video recently that uses Firefox as an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StQ_6juJlZY
Android security works completely differently than Windows, so someone else will need to reply about that.
