My email page is flashing a rectangular box with the word "login" inside it. It takes up most of the screen and I cannot see any of the mail. It's not my provider because it works in Google Chrome. I use mymts.mail, which is based in Winnipeg. Wonder if other people are having the same problem. Need to know how to fix it as I don't want to use Chrome every I want to send or receive email.

If you don't know where this came from, Do Not make use of it or provide any information.

What were you doing at the time? surfing, watching a clip, reading something . . . . Does it just pop up?

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.

I don't know where it came from. It happened when I turned my computer on this morning. It was working okay until this morning. I don't need an ad blocker I have one. It is not flashing "log in". It is flashing "loading". So, it's trying to load and can't. My mail works okay with Google Chrome. That's how I know it is a problem with Firefox.

Here is the screen shot. It alternates between this and a blue screen when it flashes.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Cookies are data that websites store on your system. These would include site settings and other data the website uses. Not to be confused with browser settings.

The cache is the web page display and such that websites send. Having the cache means the web does not need to send the same information time and again.

All log-in data is stored in the Password Manager.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Sorry for the delay. I was working on a camcorder problem.

I am too scared to start it in safe mode. I do one thing wrong and my computer won't work. I am not in a position financially to take it in to get it fixed. Is there something else I can try?

Your second link doesn't work.
