I cannot access the DE comments section using Firefox. I can using other web browsers. If I scroll down there is just a blank space where the comments should be. I can see the green icon on the article page showing how many comments are on the article, but when I click on that it simply jumps to the blank section again. I have deleted cookies etc. I also noticed that the tabs at the top the browser seem to 'stand out' more but I cannot remember if this happened on Tuesday as well.

OS: Windows

OS Version: Windows 10 Browser: Firefox 88.0 Screen Resolution: 1366x728 Colour Depth: 24 bit Has Flash: No Has JS: Yes Has Cookies: No Adblocker: ublock

I have also written to the DE, but as I am able to access commenst using Microsoft edge for example, it would appear to be a problem within Firefox. The data that I sent to the DE, that the DE picked up when I logged the call, shows Firefox v88 as above, however as far as I am aware it is V89 as of the 1/6/21, which happens to be when the problem showed itself. This could be a coincidence as I logged the problem in the moring and Firefox tells me it ws updated at 16;50 that day. I am assuming that it is GMT.

Firefox 89.0 (20210527174632)Details Installed on: 1 June 2021, 16:50:58Status: The Update was successfully installed Firefox 88.0.1 (20210504152106)Details Installed on: 6 May 2021, 10:39:01Status: The Update was successfully installed

Any help appreciated. Thanks Geoff.

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Hi Fred, Thanks for the swift response. Yep, troubleshooter mode did enable me to see the comments.. I take it then that there is a problem in UBLOCK which I use. Although I have never changed that since I installed it a long tme ago. I had already cleared the cache and cookies previously but no change there.

Any help appreciated. Thanks Geoff

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the AdBlock icon. Now select Disable on <website>. After, reload the page.

Thank you. I have done that and yes the comments do appear, but then, obviously, so do the many adverts etc that slow the site down. So whilst it is a workaround it is not a solution that allows me access as per prior to June 1st.

Thanks.
