Credit card autofill date seems to get it wrong on shopify sites.

Autofills as M/YYYY instead of the requested MM/YY format

It seems to be a problem with shopify. Can manually enter the expiry date.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, the value can be manually overwritten. I'm reporting here as product feedback since it doesn't work as intended.

Using Chrome this value autofills in MM/YYYY format so I don't think this is just Shopify's issue.
