Hello, currently there is no setting to disable tabs, however, if you wish to hide your tabs you can install the "Hide Tab Bar With One Tab", an extension hosted on Mozilla's add-ons site which will hide all the tabs in one single tab..I will post link below. Hope this helps and Good Luck!
