I can log in to AliExpress and see and deal with my previous orders, plus able to search for items and see multiple pages of goods on offer from sellers but if I select one, will only get a static page with which details-options-prices would be filled in but are not.

Edge will show all this so I am confused over what is wrong (possibly java) can you help.

What has edge got that Firefox has not?

Thanks from Dav id

被選擇的解決方法

Cracked it at last, got brave having tried switching settings on and off, removal of tracking blockers and similar tools then putting them back there seemed only one thing left:-

Removed Firefox, done a defragment to overwrite vacated blocks then a reboot, installed Firefox fresh all now working!!!!!

Takes me back to XP days, everybody did an update which caused confusion in a system having to integrate changing security rules from each bit of software................

Hope it helps others

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, DuckDuckGo PE, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

No luck so far, I have switched off security in various selections, tried most of the advice you gave (the easier stuff that causes less damage) run MS SFC Scannow, the page with the problem gets refreshed but no change.

Recently there has been a lot of MS updates so huge that it took hours to absorb the files, dread when I see network framework updates..............

It seems to be just that website and with all the updates flying around maybe its just having to wait for a new slew of updates from all parties to "unblock" the "unknown bug" ?

Seeing how the system "merges" some settings between browsers maybe its a case of Edge and Firefox settings learning from each other?

XP I could fight with this 10 to me is confusion (mainly trying to find things which have other variant names).

Many thanks from David

I enclosed two pictures of Aliexpress the first is from their hosted sellers while that second is what I get, Edge will show sellers so far. I have tried switching settings off and on plus some removal of security to see if that will work so could it be a permission problem?
