Hi friends,

I am receiving an error that firefox is out of disk space.

"firefox is running out of space"

Despite following the instructions the error still appears. I also clicked the "Got it" button in hopes that this would make the error go away, but it keeps coming back. My system has over 20gb free and I really can't see why this error is occuring.

Does anyone have any advice? (besides switching browsers)

Thanks.

Neither had I.

Would you believe its gone now?

It appeared in a yellow bar at the top of the screen in the web page content area.

If it appears again, I'll grab a screamshot.

Thank you mate.

Hi Jonzn4SUSE,

I don't believe space is the issue here. I've got over 20gb free.

I can see this using "My computer".

Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Ok, just mark your last comment as resolved and see you in Verdansk.  ;-))

Do you have a maximum quota set for various locations in Windows ?

If this is a warning coming from Firefox then this might also be about storage (indexedDB; storage folder in the profile folder).

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
