Why was the shortcut for the bookmark manager changed?
Hello!
After updating to the most recent version the shortcut (CTRL+SHIFT+B) for the bookmark manager has changed to CTRL+SHIFT+O . WHY?!? after years and years now that? the old one you could manage with one hand...especially annoying if you use the bookmark manager often and used to open it with one hand while not having to let go off the mouse with the other hand. and second... is there a way to customize shortcuts etc? in the old firefox there was apparently, but that is now gone?!? or is there a way with the help of about:config?
with regards

The Ctrl+Shift+B keyboard shortcut was reassigned to the bookmark toolbar to show/hide it. This was done to match the standard behaviour of other internet browsers. See bug 1328637 for more context.
Currently, it's not possible to change the assignment of builtin Firefox keyboard shortcuts.

well... that's stupid... to change something that makes sense to a different behaviour because "others do it that way"
Very annoying. I can't find it on the menu anymore, it's not under library / bookmarks where I looked for it. The help pages everywhere in the internet and here on mozilla have not been updated. They all still tell you its ctrl-shift-b Very annoying. THIS HERE is the only hint I found that it has been changed... without notice and a very questionable reason. If I want FF to be like the standard browsers, I use another browser... maybe I should, because FF is going again the wrong way since a year or so. Very annoying!
