I don't know what happened, but suddenly this morning Telstra webmail is loading up for the first time in about six weeks. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions. Fingers-crossed it keeps working.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version

Firefox shows a purple shield instead of a gray shield at the left end of the location/address bar in case Enhanced Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check the Web Console for messages about blocked content.

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:
You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"
"Clear the Cache":
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
After I log in to my Telstra web mail account it goes to a blank page with three small squares that flash on and off. I've attached a screen shot. I've also cleared the cookies cache, but that didn't seem to do anything.
Here's the screen shot of the three squares.
Tried all the things suggested by cor-el Top 10 ContributorModerator. None of them worked. I still have the problem. I also updated my Flashplayer. Didn't make any difference.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Took a while to get around to trying this. Made a new profile, tried to log in to my webmail account, but the same thing happened. Three small grey flashing squares.
Try this login page:

You can also try to make the window smaller to switch to mobile view.
Just tried it. Unfortunately, that doesn't work either.

Try this login page:

Tried this - it's the login page that I already use, and it just leads back to the three grey flashing squares. So unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem...
