Websites are not showing after Windows update
when I updated the Windows 10 to it's latest version, all websites stopped showing in the Firefox browser. When I try to type a url and press enter, nothing is showing up (https://imgur.com/13i6kNc). Extensions are also not showing up (https://imgur.com/gfVqWap). Not even Firefox settings (https://imgur.com/xO0D2cJ). Other browsers are working normally (I tried Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome 84 and Opera 70).
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Finally, I fixed it. Windows update deleted one of Firefox's DLLs (vcruntime140_1.dll). I downloaded it here (https://www.dll-files.com/vcruntime140_1.dll.html) and paste it in Firefox Folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox). Now Firefox is working perfectly. That's all, thanks for help從原來的回覆中察看解決方案 👍 0
Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox program folders. Do not remove the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
Do Not remove any profile folders.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner if you have one. Then run the installer. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If there is a problem, start your Computer in safe mode and try again.

I couldn't remove the folder "Mozilla Firefox", because it said the program is already running, so I looked on the task manager, but there was no process of Firefox running. I also tried deleting it using cmd with admin, but it also didn't work. So I tried Wise Program Uninstaller to force uninstalling Firefox which to my surprise did actually work and the Mozilla Firefox directory got removed. But when I rebooted my PC and installed it, it was still showing up the same exact problem.
Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

I tried to configure firewalls so Firefox can access the internet, but it didn't solve the problem, safe mode also didn't, but I'm not sure if my internet security software is up-to-date, how do I check?
