I am so confused with the all the "new" helpful information that I am in overload! I cannot sign into my Discover account. I keep getting my husband's sign-in information. I need to pay my bill. Firefox you and Norton providing protection from hackers the real original user cannot get into their own account!!!!! I cannot understand the information provided in Help as currently formatted. TOO MANY BRANCHES TO YOUR PROGRAM. I feel lost with too much information to process. All I need to do is get into my Discover account to make a payment but cannot get past my husband's sign in to my sign in....Who changed the program to block out the original user? I am sobbing at this point. As far as the info printed below HUH? WHAT? I am not a programmer?

I'm assuming that you have both yours and your husband's login information for the Discover website saved into Firefox?

My guess is that Firefox is just automatically filling in one of those logins, which happens to be your husband's. At the Discover login page, if you clear out the username or password box, a little drop-down should appear below the text box with a list of the accounts that are saved in Firefox. If your login is saved there, it should appear on the list and you can click on it. That should fill in your login information for you.

If you don't want Firefox to ever automatically fill in the login information for a website (which means you will just have to select the account that you want from the drop-down menu, you can disable this feature. That can be done by going to the Firefox menu (the three line button in the top right corner of the Firefox window and selecting Options.

On the options page, you should select Privacy & Security on the left-hand side and scroll down to the Logins and Passwords section. That will have a checkbox called Autofill logins and passwords, which you can uncheck to stop Firefox from filling in the login information automatically.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the answer you gave to my question. To my mind at present this answer does not process. I got to the second paragraph and my mind blanked out. I cannot visualize what you are describing without seeing it at the same time. I just feel the frustration rising in me, blocking any further reception to my mind. I have pulled up the screen and deleted the list of sign and codes. Now, when I try to enter what are my user name and ID, his account still appears on screen. I am so exhausted at present. I will have to revisit this in AM and see what updates tonight. Then I will begin this again in the AM.
