Why does FireFox do this? I only have three tabs open but there is 25 separate Mozilla Firefox instances in the Windows Mixer.
The only way to clear this is to reboot my computer. Firefox 72.0.1

I would hazard a guess that all those tabs have media, and Firefox is going to a process-per-tab (under some recommended limit) model. Firefox or windows or both are failing to free those controls instances (at least visually).
Seems possibly worthy of a bug report.
Nope ONE Firefox window wit ONE tab open closing Firefox does not remove these from the Windows Mixer app
