Hi, AVG user, passwords have dissapeared again. Followed the last fix process with the add-on, but not worked. Any ideas folks? Thanks Eden.

I read the posts about this, someone said login and download the update file, but no info on where, how or which. I'm not a computor wiz and would appreciate more detail. Thanks.

I see you have the add-on; Password Restore. Does this help?

Reboot the computer. Anything?

Thanks, I installed this again this morning, but it appears to have joined my passwords. Can't find it in the add-ons / extensions. If you can see it, please tell me where it is!! Thanks

Hello Eden,

You should see it when you go to Options => Add-ons => Extensions.

At least your system details to the right of your original post show that it's installed there .....

Do you have a possibly numbered logins.json.corrupt file in the profile folder ?

The extension will only work with such a file.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
