Browsing the web

Sometimes when I try to browse the web the pages won't load. This has happened plenty of times to where I've gotten rid of the app. I've also updated uninstalled/reinstalled the app a few times and the problem persists. Can you guys help me with this at all?

Hi Kathyrn

We can certainly try!

When you are seeing can be caused by a lack of capacity on your device which can sometimes be caused not through photos and music you have deliberatrly stored, but by temporary files building up in each application.

Open the Android Settings app (typically a cogwheel) select Applications and select each installed application in turn. It may be in the Storage sub-menu, but you want to clear the cached files (not the data!!).

This "spring cleaning will help with all apps that you have installed (not just Firefox) and should speed up your device.

I hope this helps.

Hi. Even after clearing the data/cache for the app, I still have issue with the web pages loading. I get an error message saying that 'an error has occurred' when the page won't load. As I mentioned before, I've had this issue plenty of times even though I keep the app updated. I'm just trying to see what I can do in order to eliminate thus problem because I just got rid of the browser due to the continued discrepancies with it

Hi

Do you have an example of a page that is struggling to open?

Hey. What I can do for future reference is screenshot the issue and then send it to you if this will help, thanks
