"Question" says it all. I'm going nuts trying to figure out why new contacts aren't showing up in my contact list when I go to forward something!

Hi Scott Miller,

Are you referring to Thunderbird?

You posted in the Firefox support fora queue. Firefox doesn't do email and doesn't have a "contact list", it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail" such as Yahoo!Mail or Gmail. You should seek support from your "web mail" service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Thunderbird, let us know and we can move this thread to the Thunderbird support queue.

No, I'm referring to Firefox Quantum 60.8.0esr (32-bit).

What do you mean Firefox doesn't do email or have a contact list? What exactly am I using to communicate with you then?

Firefox is a browser, not an email provider or an email client .... Email providers and email clients have contact lists. Some email providers have an address book (like you mention in the header of your post).

You are communicating with this support forum by posting on this site; you'll receive notifications in your email Inbox when someone has posted a reply in your thread.

If you are not using Thunderbird (= email client), then maybe you should contact the email provider you're using, like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook etc.. (see the-edmeister's post)

Firefox doesn't handle email by itself. You can use Firefox to open a web based email client like the Gmail or Yahoo or Outlook website. A dedicated application like Thunderbird can handle email as a client application installed on your computer.
