I am unable to sign into Investopedia because of images that appear at the sign in. I don't know how to fix this problem.

Just to be sure: You do get a checkmark placed in "I'm not a robot", but when you proceed and click the "Sign In" button then you are returned to the sign in page? If the latter happens then this is possibly a problem with blocked or corrupted cookies.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

In answer to your question, I sign in screen name & password, check the I'm not a Robot box, Recaptcha image comes up, verify and then the whole scenario starts all over again.

The question is whether you get a checkmark in "I'm not a robot" or that you can't get passed verify. I've seen cases that I had a very hard time to get past verify because each new images were shown (pleas also check the new images). You can try to take longer before clicking an image (a robot might be to fast and being slower might help).

Just to make sure : Could it be that you did not click the shield icon, but clicked the yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and read (under "Connection"): "Connection is not secure. Parts of this page are not secure (such as images)." If so, would you please take another look at the article about Mixed content blocking : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mixed-content-blocking-firefox Jscher2000 is talking about the shield icon, which is between the "i" in a circle and the padlock (with the triangle) ....

I did that and it gives me the same message as when I click on the yellow triangle, connection is not secure. To be sure, the icon between the yellow and the circle?

I want you to know that I FINALLY got on, thank you so much for your patience and help!!! God bless!
