When trying to send an email, I often get this error message: "This message can't be sent right now. Please try again later."
Eventually it works. But what causes Firefox to repeatedly refuse to send it?

That sounds like a email address format is wrong or the email server is busy and can't send it out or you have some adblocker or A/V software interfering with the send option.
