I first noticed this issue back in 2017 but looks like it hasn't changed since then. Duplicate Firefoxes appear under Default Apps page on Windows 10. I don't know why it happens and what causes it.

That really is not an issue. It is associated with how many times you have installed or re-installed Firefox on your computer. Some people have four instances in that location.

Well the thing is I've only installed Firefox once. Updated it twice though, could that be related? Maybe rather small but an issue nonetheless, at least in my case.

Hi Aetherlithe, Yes, it could be also related to Updates. The defaults set should be identical so, there really is no issue.
