Firefox update to 67.0 has removed all my bookmarks and passwords

What did you mean by this?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

that desktop folder only has the current data since the update was done 2019/05/21

there is no profile info in the prior to that date

Look inside the folders. Does it have your profile inside? Compare the file list with the current profile folder.

That means the folder was created two days before, and is likely your missing profile.

I have the same problem and I don't see any clear path posted as a solution Going back to 66.0.5 restores all of the missing bookmarks, password and configuration Is this a MAC OS problem or is it on all platforms - this seems to be

Select the product for what the problem is (Firefox or whatever). Now select the category for the problem. At the bottom is Other.
