multiple tabs closing at the same time

My Firefox seems to group tabs together in the same process or something, so that when I close one tab often times other tabs that are somehow (I do not do this) "linked" to that tab also close. This is extremely infuriating! Sometimes when I try closing a small number of tabs, it turns out all my tabs were linked to those somehow and my whole browser closes! I'm using recommended settings under for performance! Please fix :(

Hmm, I notice you have the Tree Style Tab extension. Are you closing tabs from the tree sidebar, or by using the close tab button on the current tab? I suppose either way, can you use the sidebar to see any relationship between the tabs that are closing as a set, for example, that they are all "children" of the same tab?

Ooo good point. Maybe I don't know how Tree Style Tabs works? Although I don't remember it acting like this before. I'll turn it off and see what happens. Thanks for the reply!
