I want to use system colors in firefox, but I want to allow one webpage in particular to not use system colors.
I want to use the system colors option in place of the normal font options for most websites, but be able to add an exception for a certain website that apparently takes all its buttons away if you try to change its color.

Hiding the website colors and using the system colors disables background images and this can hide elements on web page like you noticed.
Maybe try to search the Addons website for an extension.
