Firefox closes itself randomly
Hello I have Firefox (version 63, 64 bit) installed on a computer with over 50 Computers. A few months ago Firefox started an odd behavior. Sometimes shortly after startup or in the middle of surfing, Firefox just closes its Window. I checked, clearing the cache , with did nothing. Starting it in Safe Mode works fine. What should I do ?

It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or it could be Hardware Acceleration. How to disable Hardware Acceleration {web link}
Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, then Restart Firefox.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All Of them.
If the problem continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue until the problem is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue. Re-enable the last group ONE AT A TIME (restarting FF) until the problem returns.
Once you think you found the problem, disable that and re-enable all the others, then restart again. Let us know who the suspect is, detective.

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
This has been happening to me too. It seems to happen when I accidentally tap my touchpad. It does not happen with other applications. My touchpad settings are appropriate. My extensions are appropriate and minimal (most are disabled) My drivers are all up to date. My O/S is up to date My laptop is maintained well, i.e. clear cache regularly, scan regularly, run checks et. al. regularly. I am an advanced user.
Have you tried r4a5a88 solution?
