Im using firefox <quantom, it's not compatible with new Gmail .
Firefox quantom , is very jerky and not compatible with the new Gmail . The compose section appears ok. I get smooth operation in chrome , a google browser .

Actually I have no issue with gmail with FF62.0.3. So what adblockers do you have loaded?
im using the same , 62.3, 64 bit, I don't have any ad blockers , It's very jerky , and I heard there's a setting , that smoohs things out. What is the setting ?
Could you describe what is jerky on your Firefox? For example, scrolling the Inbox?
You could experiment with turning off "Smooth Scrolling" -- I realize that sounds like a contradiction, but it could help in some cases. That setting is on the Options page. Either:
- Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
- Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
- Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
- Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it
Scroll to the bottom of this "General" panel to the "Browsing" section and uncheck the box for "Use smooth scrolling".
Any difference?
