I've just reinstalled windows 7 & after installing FireFox 61.0.1 & imported my bookmarks (from an HTML file because it wouldn't import a JSON file). I have finally found out how to get the bookmarks menu on the toolbar but I can't open a folder so that I can select only some of the bookmarks. In previous versions when i got to the folder I then got the option to select several of the links but now I can only open all of the links.

How can I revert please? ATB, Barrie

HI, is good to save in bookmarks in HTML, less chance of corruption than in a json file. This was possibly the reason that the json would not upload.

As far as I know there has not been a feature you speak of.

You can Right Click and open in New Tab rather fast. You may have previously had a add-on/Extension that allowed this to happen prior. I have never seen this behaviour you speak of in this version or any other one.

I tend to use belt & braces when backing something up just in case one file doewsn't work.

It wasn't an extention that I added. it was called something like "show all bookmarks" & you got a new window open. you could then select the folder & then choose any or all of the links in the folder.

Hi then you want the Menu Bar open also then.

Mouse to the top of the browser/screen to a empty spot and Right Click and Check Menu Bar.

or go the 3 Bar Menu --> Customize and mouse to bottom left Tool Bars and turn Menu Bar on there. Then Save

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks but I'd already done that & dragged the bookmarks menu onto it.

I have now found the button I want . the new Firefox isn't very intuitive is it?
