Why have you left millions of us forced to use another browser because you refuse to support our OS'?
Your browser is the culprit for my machine's Kernel Panics and while I get my OS is antiquated by your standards, why would you just toss us out with the bath water, the very people who Beta Tested your platform and gave you the position you have on the WWW?

hi, we've supported your operating system 5 years longer than apple did. there is a point though when the switch away has to be made in the developement, so that new features and benefits (that depend on the capabilities of the os) for everyone else are no longer hold up by legacy systems - the same happened for windows xp & vista recently, which arguably have a much larger population of firefox users...
not sure why you'd be seeing kernel panics now, after firefox has remained unchanged for so long on your system - perhaps its hardware is no longer up to scratch?
Pretty much every company that makes the major web browsers have stopped supporting the old EOL Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 for a year or longer now.
Chrome, Chromium, and Opera dropped support of Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 along with WinXP and Vista since April 2016.

The most current version with security fixes that worked on Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 was actually 45.9.0 ESR (out on April 19, 2017) and not the older 48.0.2 Release (out on August 24, 2016).
