Firefox crashes

For the last several weeks Firefox either hangs up,crashes or becomes unresponsive.This will happened at times after only a few minutes and other times within 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.I cannot get a solid hour of use from Firefox.I have reset,uninstalled and reinstalled,operated in safe-mode but nothing has helped.Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge work fine.I even had to uninstall Firefox from my LG phone which is less than a month old as well as my Samsung tablet which both have similar issues when running Firefox. Please help resolve these issues for I am a loyal Firefoxer. Thank you

HI, please Copy/Paste about:preferences#privacy into the Address Bar then Enter. Go down to the Heading called Permissions and at the bottom that heading please make sure there is a Check Mark in the box to Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser.

Then please go up to General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2, go higher or lower till find the sweet spot. Restart Firefox after making these changes please. Note : Hardware Acceleration is for Video Card, Monitor to see if remain off or to turn back on.

If still having issues please send only 5 bp- as URL's as instructed below.: In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A Submitted Crash Reports list will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
