Check the image I linked guys . (A video from facebook) As you can see it is stuck in the play button and when I click it , It buffers but stops again and goes back to the play button and as you can see it only shows an image of the video or Thumbnail. Youtube videos are fine for me but for some reason every other website wont let me play videos. Can someone tell me a permanent solution to this. Because I've searched and done fixes I've seen online and in this websites support. But nothing works for me . Please guys!

Yes! I fixed it . So After updating my windows 10 . I downloaded media pack and came across the install freeze problem. The solution for this is that you have to pick the right version of media pack for your windows. In this link you can find it " https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions " So just download the right version and everything will work fine. "IF" some problems persist just continue to redownload and install media pack . And donloading media pack is infact the solution for my initial problem,Everything runs fine now. I hope this helps guys!and thanks for the help happy.

Happy I figured out something but Im not sure if it is the fix. But im trying to download the Windows media feature pack N . I THINK that my problem's root is that my windows 10 is outdated and that's why I can't download the Windows Media Feature pack because the lowest version you can get it for is Windows .1511. As for me If you look at the image below , you can see that my windows 10 has failed to update (I just found out) numerous times. And that leaves me stuck on a windows 10 .14393.2125 . Version. So I can't download Media pack to play videos UNLESS I update my windows to the latest version or atleast in 1607. But in that case it is failing to do so . I am still in need of help for this matter. Thank you for the responses happy . I hope you can help me solve this.

Tim, I must say : you're getting to be quite good at this - you're figuring it out all by yourself (good for you  !).

If this is a 'Windows update' case and you're stuck here - maybe you could post a question on the Microsoft support forum  ?

Sir Happy . Thank you very much for your fast response . I figured out that I tried to solve the issue where local system eats up memory and network so I disabled it . It turns out that it's eating mem and network is because its the windows updating . And the image youve seen is the result of me continuously disabling local system . Its really stupid of me but atleast now I know . Right now I just finished updating my windows 10 to 1607 so I think Im good to go to download Windows Media Feature pack . I hope it works nowand solves my initial problem, I will update what happens so this problem would finally be solved. Again thank you !

Sorry for the mistake . Thank you again maam for the response for this . And I will not mark it as of now I am still installing Media feature pack because for some reason as you can see from the image below ,installing is taking some time ,it has been like that with no movement for about 10 minutes now. But Im gonna wait a few minutes and see the results and I will mark it then . Thanks!

I came across a new issue which is based on my research that the install freezes and the fixes are really complicated. Im just finding issue after issue here . Can you help me with this one ? because I dont know what to do because the fixes are complicated for me and I need them simplified in a way . The issue is the standalone installer freezes at the installing done and update part as shown in the image.

And this is what he told me :

"Other than making sure Windows has completed all its updates by shutting down and restarting Windows a couple of times, I think the poster may need to try Microsoft. "

I've already suggested to post a question on the Microsoft support forum :

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us

So, will you do that  ? Make sure Windows has completed all its updates
first ......

And please, keep us posted, will you  ?
