Please consider in Firefox to tick send info to Mozilla before making a Post.

I have no information. Can not even confirm you are using the latest ver which is 57.0.1

Not other info Extensions and Video Card Drivers that can help pin point issues.

You did not supply anything so I guess.

Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Help ? --> Troubleshooting Information Page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there. if yes, go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser. Restart Firefox

If does not work after testing ...

Please : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles then https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi David, sorry to hear about the crashes. One other thing that would be helpful is to know more about the symptoms.

When you mention needing to use Ctrl+Alt+Del, it sounds like Firefox is freezing, but you do not get a crash dialog either from Firefox or from Windows. Is that correct? Basically you have to manually crash Firefox to get back to Windows?

Is the computer going quiet during that time or is it working hard, i.e., fan comes on, hard drive busy, etc.?

We have a general support article on freezes: Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix.

If Firefox is freezing on your home page, it may be difficult to even get started. In that case, you can start Firefox up with a blank page by pasting this into the Windows start menu search box and pressing Enter to execute it:

firefox.exe "about:blank"

Does that let you do a little troubleshooting?

Finally, there is a problem related to Accessibility Services that is affecting numerous Windows 10 users but might also affect users of some older versions of Windows. Please see the reply from philipp in the following thread in case this bug is affecting your system: Firefox 57 hangs up.
