I have tried everything, but Firefox won't open. Hasn't worked for two years, and I thought a totally clean install of Quantum may fix. Here is the windows event error: Faulting application name: firefox.exe, version: 57.0.0.6525, time stamp: 0x5a085587 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.15063.608, time stamp: 0x8274fd8b Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000001f8cc Faulting process id: 0x132c Faulting application start time: 0x01d360fa7c6cdfef Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: 32cfb942-b173-4e33-8174-a1a8a7139fcc Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID:

Here is what I have tried: -Loading in safemode (won't open) -Trying to open profile manager (-p, etc) won't open -Uninstall/ reinstall multiple times -Manually delete all folders -Removed Firefox from registry -Removed firefox plugins from registry -Removed Mozilla profiles from c:\Users\Me\Appdata folders -Did a DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth to try and fix the ntdll.dll file -Disabled malwarebytes/updated to latest version -Disabled Kaspersky/updated to latest version

I am so out of ideas, but am not happy with Chrome, don't want to use edge. When this all started back in spring 2016, I just loaded chrome and said screw it. Thought I'd go all in trying to fix this time. I am running a fully updated install of Windows 10, have never had ANY issues whatsoever, don't know why firefox is a problem.

Any suggestions?

Should have waited for help : next time . Next time have crashes follow the info in this and send the info as a bp- file as per URL so that we can open it on this end as a URL to the crash report. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-asking-support Also sending in your first post and saying so will get you faster.

Also for next time : Please turn on send info to Mozilla before you make a question and we get to see some stuff about your video card drivers important stuff. Or go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum (though 1/2 time issues in copy/paste)

More than willing to help, little back logged at the moment you can imagine You went so far in doing things the original question no longer mattered to what you said as you did it all. Send Question 1st and wait before doing stuff.

You did do the proper uninstall be deleting folders after though keep the one where your Profile is as we have a diff way to work in those issues.

I only recommend Full Version Installers https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I just found a link to download and install the 32 bit version, and it works perfectly. So that's something. I still have no idea why 64 bit won't load.

Many have reported issues using the 64bit Firefox.
