Sleep
I have been a user of firefox for many years . BUT lately when I use firefox it will not let my PC (NUC6i5syh) go to sleep I don't want to say this but when I went to another browser today to test my theory's it worked and my PC would sleep. Are you sure the process/es keeping your CPU awake is/are connected to Firefox?
Maybe it won't go to sleep because it's running something in the background, such as a download operation.
Make sure to abort any task in progress and try it again.
