Friends, I would first like to establish that my account exists. Yes? What can I do to sign in or access settings?

Since I did not receive any instructions, feedback etc from support, does this mean that I have to reinstall Firefox? And start over?

Thanks, dsk

Please give this a try. Delete by hand the cookies for the login that is being stopped. Then please follow this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords

If this solves your problem please come back and mark as solved and if not please let us know.

Pkshadow,

Thank you for the advice!

So happens that I was also in the process of setting up a new laptop. It turns out that I was able to access Firefox/Mozilla using the new laptop - and could change my password. Using the new password, I was able to access Mozilla on my old laptop. (Still a mystery?)

But now I would like to ask you the favor of confirming the sync process. No doubt it has been explained on the website, but after looking at the somewhat random re-ordered list of bookmarks that resulted on the new laptop when I synced to the old laptop, I am wondering which laptop syncs to which changes.

Does the new laptop always sync to the old (main) laptop?

Or, does either laptop sync to the latest change no matter on which laptop the change is made?

Thanks again! dsk
