Why does this happen and how can I stop it...other than going back to Internet Explorer?

Hi

So that we can understand and appreciate what you are seeing, please can you let us know which web page you are looking at when that appears?

This will help us to find a possible solution for you.

That means the computer's CPU is being overworked.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
