I tried to upload a screen shot earlier and it stalled.. It was a .jpg snipping tool capture. Yes I did click the icon and it directed me to the registered True Owner Page I have had the same thing happen on several occasions... Cheers and thanks for your help.. On this page you are showing Fx 51.0.1 but (under More System Details) your User Agent is showing Fx 27.0. I can't see any obvious reason for this but FredMcD or another expert will show you how to fix it.

The System Details list next to the question shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts. The user.js file will only be present if you or other software has created this file and normally won't be present.

You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: "Open with"; do not double-click). The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.

You can delete the user.js file if you didn't create this file yourself.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

  Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder

As stated in above replies your user agent was overridden.

The web browser is Mozilla Firefox or Firefox for short as Mozilla refers to the company.

Problem solved. I used this link information https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-reset-default-user-agent-firefox FX was set at 27. Only one preference name could be rest and that fixed it.. general.useragent.override

Did you check the content of the user.js file because it is possible that the pref is set via this file?

If that is the case then the problem will return after the next Firefox start.
